Impressive victories by Belinda Granger, (Ford Ironman Lake Placid NY) Emma Snowsill, (NYC triathlon) Matty Reed (Boulder Peaks Triathlon), Desiree Flicker (RYKA Iron Girl Texas Triathlon) and Dave Thompson (USA Triathlon Elite Long Distance national championship in Racine, Wisconsin), riding on Zipp wheels help to underscore the importance of aero wheels for triathletes.

Belinda Granger, (photo crossing the line), riding a Zipp 606 wheelset claimed her 4th Ironman title, made her move during the bike split, building a 14 minute advantage and recorded these impressive times: Swim: 54:21, Bike: 5:14 (fastest female bike split, 21.4 mph), Run: 3:26, her total time was: 9:40.20.

In a professional TT 13 seconds is eternity

Fabian Cancellara turned in a superlative performance in the 2007 prologue, winning the time trial by 13 seconds. Helped along the course by his custom ZedTech99 wheel set, Fabian proved once again his TT style and power have no match.

In a surprise move at the end of stage 3 Fabian extended his lead by a further 10 seconds and regained the yellow jersey. Speeding ahead of the pack at the line Cancellara caught the main sprinters off guard and powered his way to the line after a long stage marked by head winds.
