Zipp Dealer Spotlight: Gear West’s Kevin O’Connor
 Kevin O'Connor is a busy person, when not running his highly successful business, he is in the water, on the bike or pounding along the road. He recently proved he is one of the fastest Zipp dealers in the world, finishing the Ironman World Championship in Kona in 9:35:13.
Kevin does have one advantage, as the owner of Gear West, a specialty bike shop in Minnesota that carries Zipp wheels and components, he is able to pick and choose what Zipp wheels he will be using. This year he rode the Speed Shop combination of a 404 front wheel and an 808 rear wheel, finding it was a perfect wheelset to handle his weight, cross-winds, and grueling 112 mile bike leg.

Zipp wheels chosen by Athletes at Ironman World Championships
 Zipp is clearly the Wheel of Choice for Ironman World Championships. Zipp athletes ranked well among top 10. Joanna Lawn, Belinda Granger, Tim DeBoom, Patrick Vernay, and second place finisher Craig Alexander are among them. Former world time trial champion Laurent Jalabert was also spotted on Zipp wheels. Kolobnev dusts competition (literally)
 Zipp wheels helped shepherd Alexandr Kolobnev of Team CSC to
victory in the inaugural Monte Paschi Eroica. The white gravel roads proved to
be no match for Team CSCs carbon Zipp Wheels.
NOTE: CSC was the only team to ride all carbon wheels on this very punishing gravel course.
