Team Type 1 and the Race Across America - 2008

Today, Wed., June 11, around noon, Team type 1 begins their third year of competition in Race Across America (RAAM). RAAM (3000 miles in five days) has been described as the "most difficult cycling race in U.S."

• A team of 19 support crew
• A team of eight riders - all with type one diabetes
• Five 'first time' riders, and three one-year veterans
