Kristin Armstrong Sets Gila TT Course Record on Zipp Wheels
Cervélo TestTeam's Kristin Armstrong broke Jeannie Longo's course record, winning in a time of 37:36, to finish first in the women's time trial in the 3rd stage of the Tour of Gila. In doing so Armstrong maintains her overall lead. Alison Powers (Team Type 1) finished second, with Anne Samplonius (Lip Smacker) third Armstrong was riding a Zipp 900 Disc wheel and a Zipp 808.
