Iconic Manayunk Wall awaits

Three Zipp-supported teams will compete against top international fields at this Sunday’s Parx Casino Philly Cycling Classic. The UCI 2.1 classification pro race in Philadelphia will start and finish on top of one of the most iconic spots in U.S. cycling, the Manayunk Wall.

Bissell-ABG-Giant, a domestic elite team that focuses on developing young riders, will contest the 10 lap, 120 mile men’s race. The team rides Zipp wheels and bars, SRAM RED drivetrains and Quarq Power MetersTeam Exergy TWENTY16 (Zipp wheels, bars, stems, seatposts and Tangente tires and SRAM RED) and Team Specialized lululemon (Zipp bars, stems and seatposts and SRAM RED) will race the 5 lap, 60 mile women’s event. The race’s $60,000 purse will be divided equally between the men and women.

Also, SRAM Neutral Race Support will be ready with Zipp- and SRAM-equipped bikes for racers in need of roadside help.
