Sport/discipline: Cyclocross About Jamey: Turned pro in 2008 with the Cannondale Cyclocrossworld.com team and graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. As Jamey says, "I would also most likely go legally insane if I went a year without going skiing in my off season." Hometown: Jericho, Vt. Current residence: Winooski, Vt. SRAM® products used: full Red groupo, with Avid® Shorty Ultimate™ brakes. Zipp® products used: 303 cyclocross tubular wheels, Service Course® SL bar, stem and seatpost. Favorite SRAM product and why: The 1:1 exact actuation of the shifting. Plenty of unexpected things happen in a cross race, and the SRAM shifting performs better in bad conditions. Favorite Zipp product and why: The 303s, they are super light and have a perfect blend of compliance and stiffness. The worst part about them is getting back on my aluminum clinchers. You’re stranded on a desert island and you have to choose one of each of the following: One album? Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium One candy? Name brand: Snickers. Real answer: Mom’s peanut butter chocolate chip cookies One vice? The Internet, but that might be hard on a desert island.
