Brief Overview: In 2006 Jan Raphael decided to do Ironman races and won Ironman Florida straightaway. He continued with a 4th and 6th place at IronmanGermany in Frankfurt in a field of world-class athletes. The Commerzbank athlete studies to become a German and physical education teacher. Two-time Hawaii winner Normann Stadler says of his teammate: “Jan is the pit bull among triathletes and doesn’t let himself be beaten."

Favorite Zipp product (and why):  My favorite race setup is 808 in front and disc as rear wheel. If the course is flat and fast it's the best you can ride. If it's windy like Kona or hilly like Lanzarote I prefer 404 in front and 808 as rear wheel. Also really fast and good to handle, a good combination for every race.
