Sebastian Kienle

Sebastian Kienle is a physics student who loves working on bikes, learning bike tech, and shredding triathlon courses. In 2012, the young German was victorious in the 70.3® World Championship and finished an impressive fourth in Kona despite a flat tire. He lists the lure of the Super-9 Carbon Clincher Disc as one of the reasons he joined Zipp’s roster. Despite being at the top of his sport, he knows how much work and preparation it will take to achieve his goal of winning at Kona. “Sometimes a goal looks very close but the closer you get the slower you move. The last steps are always the hardest.”

Sebastian rides Zipp wheels, SRAM components and Quarq power meters.
