Häusler Wins Tour de l'Aude

Claudia Häusler has won the GC in one of the most prestigious races in women’s cycling, the Tour de l`Aude (UCI 2.1). The 23-year old German led the race since stage 6. Cervélo TestTeam did an incredible job dominating this mountain stage race.

Today the team decided to control the race from the beginning. During the race there was a 6 rider break lasting until the final 30 seconds of the stage. Ina-Yoko Teutenberg won the stage in front of Noëmie Cantele and Emma Johansson.

"I am very proud of all the ladies! It was our goal to take the overall victory and we did it," said Sports Director, Manel Lacambra. "The entire team made great progress during the Tour de l’Aude and we are totally happy with the results; Claudia wins the GC, Kristin won stage 5 and we won the team classification."
